Setting up your camera
A walk-through on how to set up your camera for the best results in your edits.
Workflow walk-through
Learn how to setup a Lightroom library, import, organize & export your photos.
Essentials guidebook
After the workshop, you will receive a guidebook packed with lightroom essentials for reference.
Lightroom essentials
Learn the essentials of photo editing: exposure, color corrections, masking and so on!
Photowalk
We’ll go on a joined photowalk in the area to get our creative juices flowing and create a set of images to work with.

Our workshop location is Elke Dag Vers, where we’ll comfortably sit together.Coffee and tea included!

Your guide(s)
According to availabilty and group size, the workshop is either hosted by Bart-Jan or Francine, or both when we’re at max capacity. Every now and then, a second guide may be someone in training.

First we’ll get settled at our location: have a drink, set up our laptops and make sure we’ll all set for the workshop.
After a brief intro, we’ll go out for a 45-minute photowalk. We’ll explore the area and capture some interesting shots to work with later.
Returning to our edit location, we’ll continue with theory and hands-on practice with Lightroom.
After the workshop, you’ll have a basic understanding of how to use the software to organize and edit your photos.

To join the workshop you need the following:
a laptop with Lightroom Classic installed (you can download a trial version here: https://www.adobe.com/nl/products/photoshop-lightroom-classic.html).
A camera, ideally one that allows you some manual settings and working in RAW format
Also don’t forget memory cards, charged camera batteries and charger for your laptop :)

Ideally, bring a camera that allows you to change settings and shoot in RAW format, like a DSLR or a mirrorless camera. If you don’t have one, a compact camera or smartphone will work.
